Dear Student, 

Personal data of the students who are entitled to receive education as Turkey Scholarship Student in Turkey by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities are processed and used by the Presidency in order to make official procedures for their education. However, the said personal data are transferred to the educational institutions that are the stakeholders of the Presidency, YÖK (Council of Higher Education), SGK (Social Security Institution), KYK (Credit and Dormitories Agency), THY (Turkish Airlines) authorized by law, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the foreign offices of the Republic of Turkey, public institutions and organizations and other institutions and organizations required by official procedures. Otherwise, it is not possible for students to start their education life as a Turkey Scholarship Student.

On the other hand, your explicit consent is requested for the purpose of sharing your personal data processed before the Presidency with the relevant institutions, except in the cases specified in the law as a processing requirement and required to be carried out. The explicit consent form for the protection of personal data is given below. You can submit a request via TBBS for the procedures related to your declaration in the explicit consent form.

Explicit Consent Form on the Protection of Personal Data 

I give my explicit consent to the transfer of my personal data to international organizations within the scope of various studies and organizations other than those specified in the law as a condition of processing and required to be carried out; to the foreign representative of the country I am a citizen of for listing, reporting, verification, analysis, evaluation and other reasons; to the transfer of my personal data to business organizations and profit organizations with the potential to offer career opportunities to students/graduates; to the transfer to associations, foundations, non-governmental organizations to which the Presidency is connected within the scope of various studies and to the transfer to public institutions for transactions other than the specified works if necessary.
